The Blue Marble – NASA

How can we visualise how climate change is affecting our planet? One way is to look at photographs which demonstrate how areas on the Earth have changed over time but there are also some beautiful videos which can help us make sense of the masses of data relating to climate change:

The Breathing Earth – Climate Change Data Visualisation

A short history of global emissions from fossil-fuel burning (1750-2010)

The sound of climate change from the Amazon to the Arctic

Some background on the song can be found here.

NASA also has a number of other images and videos relating to climate change: Beautiful Earth and Climate Reel.

Not specifically about climate change but a stunning visualisation – NASA’s Perpetual Ocean (2005-2007)
