Happy New Year to everyone! At the end of 2015 momentum started building in Southampton for action on climate change – there was the first Southampton Climate Conversations event, the Southampton People’s Climate Change Demonstration and the Researchers Café on climate change. This year we are looking forward to working with and inspiring more people across the city to help create a more sustainable Southampton. Will you join us?

Below is information on some of the upcoming events in January and February; how to get hold of free wildflower seed kits; and a game you can play for getting rid of some of the ‘stuff’ you may have accumulated over the festive period!

And finally, January may be all about de-toxing but February can be all about de-cluttering: try the 30-day Minimalism Game! Give away, donate or sell your excess stuff each day next month. Yes we know there aren’t 30 days in February, but if you actually get to day 29 in the game, we will be seriously impressed …
